Gameplay[]

Name: Boris “Baron” Mikhailov

Job: Volk Head of Recruitment

Likes: Blocks—Very, Very Large Blocks

Dislikes: Uninvited Guests

Boris “Baron” Mikhailov is a brutish man who heads up the recruitment of new workers for the industrial wolf pack known as the Volk. The Agency has been watching and waiting for him to trip up, but Mikhailov has so far proven too cunning. His recruitment practices are shadowed in secrecy. All that is known is that he manages to ship in hordes of immigrants without getting caught. This is bad news for justice, and worse news for these immigrants. Mikhailov’s henchmen have little interest in the welfare of their human cargo; many die while others barely survive. This is how Boris weeds out the unsatisfactory laborers from his workforce: the strong survive and advance, while the weak either die or are let loose on the streets to cause trouble for the Agency, and that means trouble for you, Agent; are you going to stand for that?

TINKER WITH HIS TOYS[]

Boris'  hideout contains stacks of giant steel boxes of multiple colors. This is what first awaits you as you jump through the entrance of the Docklands shipyard and storage facility. You’ll find a supply point nearby, where you can reload your weapons and plan your attack. This is no training mission, Agent, and you shouldn’t attempt to negotiate this maze of storage bins until you’ve built up a high amount of Agility. Without it, you won’t have the oomph to jump to the high-reaching hiding places of Mikhailov’s personal bodyguards, the Govnik. Enemies are stationed at regular intervals on the very tops of colorful bins, so make sure you bring some long-distance firepower, like the Hothead you might find lying beside a freshly-killed Volk.  If you don’t, you’ll witness the effect the Hothead has on the human body—your body, Agent. It’s not pretty.

On the ground, the situation inside the Docklands is highly dangerous. The inside forms a complex maze where the villains can hide and take potshots at you while enemies above throw grenades and explosives down on your head. The Volk has a large supply of jeeps, SUVs, and special armored cars, and they will not hesitate to run you down. Don’t let them grind your gears, Agent. Get in there, commandeer their vehicles, and see how much they like their own medicine. Or lure them over the side wall where you can knock them into the cold water and give them reason to regret the decision to seed the water with floating mines. They also seem to store a high number of gas-filled vehicles and explosive barrels at this storage facility. Use your boomstick wisely. (And often.)

SHIPPING AND RECEIVING[]

Your final destination, of course, is the king of supply and demand himself, Boris Mikhailov. Agency intel suggests his main base of operations is a ship that lies in dry-dock alongside a storage facility. That ship has been out of commission for far too long—it must be Mikhailov’s secret hideout. The ship has many levels, and it’s housed in an inverted ziggurat-style chasm that you might fall into. This is where your heightened Agility really comes into play. You’ll have to jump onto the boat, most likely from the roofs of the storage warehouses on the far side of the ship. Or you can even be daring and drive your Agency SUV up the ramps placed inside the tallest of the storage blocks. Now just how do you think you’ll get an SUV way up there?

DOUBLE YOUR FUN[]

Taking out Mikhailov is a rewarding task, but it can be even better if you don’t do it alone. This is an area that screams for company, so bring a friend, even if you don’t like him. With a combined air and ground assault, Papa Wolf Mikhailov won’t know what hit him.  And if your buddy mouths off to you, you can get the last word by delivering a missile to the mouth. The shipyard is the perfect area for one-on-one combat, with its high-altitude hotspots, many cubbyholes, and abundant supply of Hotheads. It has all the makings of a perfect game of cat and mouse.
